Finally FINALLY…I finished my pattern of the “Happy Pincushion Organiser” … now I can take big big sigh of relief…have had it on my todo list for ages…but somehow I have managed to prolong this to the longest….ever!

And this needs to be celebrated..doesn’t it!!! Do I hear a YES…I hope so…😜

I will be giving a way one 8 pages PDF pattern with step by step instructions and lots of pictures here on my blog …and on Instagram I will be giving away two more patterns.

And as always..I LOVE hearing from you…you are the reason why I love to blog …so this time I’m very curious to know…

SCRAP LOVER or NOT… 😜😍

Easy Peasy… let me know in the comments and I will add you to the draw! And if you want to sign up for my newsletter…that is up to you….I wouldn’t dream of forcing you to sign up just for a giveaway…💗

Giveaway will be open until Sunday the 5 th Of August…somewhere until I go to bed! 😉

My Happy Pincushion Organiser is a most fun little Pincushion to make…I have made nine already..and I’m sure I will make lots more.

It started with these 4 ones… one for us all in our sewing group “Kreativa Tanter” …roughly translated to Creative Ladies… can’t find a word for our Swedish word “Tant”…an “older” lady, love having a cup of tea or coffee and fika and chatting with friends and at the same time doing something crafty! Anyone know if there is a word for that?

The pincushions made…one for Tant Gul 💛 (Yellow=Lilian),Tant Blå 💙 (Blue=Carola), Tant Rosa 💗 (Pink=Åsa) and Tant Grön 💚 (Green=Me)… how fun it was to give these away… ❤️

Then I made one for my lovely therapist Kicki…she was the sunshine on my winter days…so she needed one too🧡

Orange one for her… see how very scrap friendly this Pincushion is!

This spring I made two more…needed a lot of testing to do and also photos to take…

This one have now gotten a home with Louise…💗

And this one lives at the home of Shirley in England…💗

Here I took a pause in my pattern writing for some reason…phew…so I needed to dust my memory off so I made one more and almost finished the pattern..

Made with scraps that was on my cutting table from my lastest sewing…the secret one!

Here I changed a bit to the pattern…added that…and I also got a new idea…so I had to make another…😜 my latest one…and this one is now officially my favourite!

I added a holder for my sewing thread! Yay…now I can have it even more organised!I found the perfect button…this one have come all the way from Australia as a gift…and now it came to perfect use!

It’s the perfect size to sit on my sewing machine too… 💖

Hope you will love making one for you and lots for your friends…

Pattern can be bought at my Craftsy storeI appreciate every little buy …means more than you know!

And good luck in the draw! 💖💗💖

I did sew in June..promise I did! 😜

First I finished my secret project…can show soon!

And then I sewed on my Happy Pincushion Organiser pattern that soon is for sale! Yay!!

Test sewed a few ones …and the more I sew..the more I want to make…I can’t stop!

I have worked on this pattern for ages ..and are tweaking and tweaking adding this and that…but think I call it done soon!

Made new logos to use at the front of the pattern and I’m happy with them… boy this takes time! I’m no pro so it’s a lot of thinking on HOW to do before it’s actually is done..trial and error as well!

Two pincushions were sent to friends…one to Louise and one to Shirley…pink ones both of them. Happy to have pink loving friends 💗💖💗😜

I also made an attempt of making a bag for Shirley…a Weebraw bag…a pattern by Laura Cunningham…

Me and bags! Well now it also shall be said..I was sick and wasn’t my brightest and sharpest myself…😜 so I made EVERY mistake that could be done…I think!

But a bag it became! Phew!

Not the same size, not how I imagined, not the width it was supposed to be…but hey…it’s a bag and I used up some pretty pretty fabrics…😜

Pretty inside…💗

Think it’s cute!

Someone on Instagram said it was kissing lips …and I have to agree !

I will definitely make some more of this bag…I just need to recover from the making of it! No..I’m just kidding…it was an easy bag to make…it was just me…😜sometimes you just shall walk away from the sewing and not be so stubborn…hmm…think I just said something about my father being stubborn…😉

Now I’m almost caught up… yay to me! So see you soon lovelies 💗

Have enjoyed sewing two quilts for friends… started before Christmas…and even before that in mind…but you know how it is…life gets in between…so I am most happy to finally have these little quilts made…and also sent and received …?

The pattern is by Cheri Payne and it’s called Sisters Love… and that pattern were just right to use and make for my lovely friends  Louise and Shirley. They are both the sisters I didn’t get! ??

Shirley had to have a pink quilt and blue was an easy choice for Louise…?? Cheri’s patterns are fun, happy and gives you room for your own ideas to bloom. I like that… ? to stretch your creativity a bit.
Photos are taken in The Old Church town here in Öjebyn…a very lovely place…of course I did chose to take photos on one of the coldest days…? and somehow photos taken with my camera vanished up in cyber space..so I’m happy I took photos with my iPhone …phew… was in a hurry sending the quilts away…so they were on its way when I saw that there were no photos… ?

Details from Shirley’s quilt… cute girly blocks with our names stitched and improve pieced hearts…I did use my own hearts and not from Cheri’s pattern…

Love the spring flowers added… yay…spring is coming…I really love details like this…?

Did a free form baptist fan quilting…and I must say it’s a favourite of mine…really love the look, both modern and traditional…

And even better is that it’s a fun and easy quilting to make… really fun! Do try!

And a label of course… will be more of them in the future! Can’t get enough of them.

That was some pink love are you ready for the blue one!

Stitchery adds such a lovely detail to a quilt…and makes it so personal … ?

And a slightly different label..added French knots to this one…

More improve scrappy hearts … love these so much… so have made another quilt using these and will try to get it on paper and make a pattern… ?

Love adding little bits of unexpected pieces of fabrics ..like the pink fabric strip in the blue border…and the binding…

Happy for amazing  friends so that I get the opportunity to sew lovely quilts… makes my heart happy! Have missed sewing for friends and making gifts so this was pure joy from start to finish!

Thanks for being my friends Shirley and Louise… ??
