I got the loveliest pincushion from my swap partner
Karen Sofie in Denmark…
She had read me very well trying to find out what I liked …
A soft palette, pretty fabrics ( look at that strawberry) and the hexagons…

Well I have never made a hexagon quilt…YET… But I so love them…
and I had them on my inspiration board I sent for her to be inspired by.

The quilting on it is fantastic…and a fun one!
And it's two sided… So so clever…
Love the modern Christmas tree on the other side!
I am so so happy for my pincushion…
Karen's handiwork is brilliant!

Have used it every time I sew!
Thankyou Karen!

I have always wanted to make the Carry All pincushion
it is a pattern by Anna Graham from the blog Noodlehead..
And can be found in her book Handmade Style…which is a great book…
lots to make in that one! More Future projects… 😉
So when a secret pincushion swap was decided in Scandibee for Christmas
I decided to make it for my partner…
I absolutely LOVE how it turned out…
A clever one with pockets to fill with what you need!
I even was very tempted to keep it myself and sew her another…
but decide to send it … because it was made with her in mind.
Our Admin of the group…Ruth was my partner…
Can make another one…can’t I? 😉

but I do have some excuses for that…but more on that on another blogpost..
Today I thought to finally post pictures of blocks made in Scandibee …
These are the blocks I made for Hanne in Denmark… The December blocks…
A most lovely block…this will also be a fantastic quilt!
There is a tutorial to this block here, from sewcraftyjess
Next I will show the pincushion I made as a swap in Scandibee…
See you!
