The big happening was of course Viktors prom and graduation…so a lot of preparations for both these events were done…

But also Stella time and making stuff for her… and snuggles and cuddles…

She’s growing so fast…for every time I see her…there has happened something new…

Best way to sleep is on Mummy…💗

Made a crocheted little mobile for her…love the cute little bumble bee … and those flowers I found from an abandoned project a few years back… knew they would come in handy some day… 😉

One who loves to snuggle is this “old” lady…oh how she loves her pillows … 💗 realised she’s about the same age as me… 😉 so “old” we are both of us..lol

Lilacs were in bloom pretty early and I enjoyed their smell while writing on my Pincushion pattern and the secret project… which reminds me…I need to finish the Happy Pincushion pattern… 😊

And Viktor…the last days of school…the prom and all the fuss we had with his suit…I’m so happy it turned out as he wanted…you see…they sold the suit, tie and everything he had put away while waiting for the right size of suit trousers to come ….HUH!

But the shop did a great job fixing everything, the boss flew the suit up from Stockholm, the tie came from elsewhere, the shirt they had in the right size…so it was a big big relief that he could dress up and look this handsome!

The prom were held at Piteå Havsbad a grey and not so warm evening, but oh how lovely they looked together…Viktor and Alva (his friend and tennis companion for many years)…

What a lovely day to remember … driving there in a sports car, walking the red carpet, dinner and dancing … and to be with friends.

Signing off with another chill mode… 😉

Back with graduation pics and other June happenings…

But I’m back …AGAIN… 😊 let’s say life happened…as always…so let’s say…

Thought I would do a bit of a recap of MAY… 😊 so hang on what’s happened at my place…

What a May we had…sunny and with temps like summer…so all the snow I thought would last till Midsummer vanished in a blink…at least it felt so…and I didn’t complain a bit!

I found myself sitting outside on the balcony with last years crochet project, had to redo some circles because I’d forgotten what size I had used on my hook…so a mental note to myself …write that up!

My sweet companion took possession of her chair …

How she loves to sit here! But it get quite hot so she’s not sitting too long..so she comes and goes.

And this little sweetheart of mine turned two months!

Oh..how time flies!

Made a monthly blanket to use for Stella’s first year…

My favourite tree bloomed and smelled just wonderful…think it’s my favourite because it’s one of the first blooming trees after the winter…ahhh…blissful 😊

More balcony time got me at full speed with secret sewing…yes I will tell when time comes…

A little sneaky peek for you too see… decided to work with more blacks than I use to work with…and that was a challenge for me…wonder why 😉

Since the snow disappeared so quickly…I had had this brilliant idea that I had all the time in the world to finish my Happy Tree quilt and be able to take photos of it …with snow… well that turned out to be harder than I thought…so we went on a little trip to Arjeplog to catch the last snow and to take little Stella on her first long road trip to see her grandparents…

So here we are..four generations…

Petra, me and my mum and dad and little Stella…

And the quilt photos…let’s take them at the next blogpost… will be lots of them

Promise..won’t take two months this time… ( i hope)… see you 😊

Little Miss Stella… or her full name… Stella Teresia 💗

how mesmerised can a Mormor be…it seems like A LOT! Have now been a grandmother or as we say in Sweden “mormor” for a plus five weeks now…and it’s lovely!

I’m so fortunate to live close, I can walk there and be there quite quick..either to annoyance 😉 or to help out or just to be able to get a bit of a cuddle.

This picture is from when I held her the first time…so precious…what a special moment in life..💗

And Morbror (uncle) Viktor and Stella ..so much love…

Tried really hard to get the quilt finished…but I gave up…no use trying…days were spent visiting Stella instead…but I managed to get the wreath of flowers and hearts on the quilt…

How cute isn’t baby Stella on the quilt…here she is two weeks old.

Next thing happening…we had a party to prepare and focus on…Petra turned 30 so we gathered family and friends (30-35 people) for a happy day. How I love these happy family reunions…so happy my parents could come…dad just had a big surgery but felt well enough to come and my mum had longed for Stella..so it was so nice it could be done.

Dad, Mum and Stella, Daughter Linda and Molly, Petra and Stella and the happy new little family Jimmy, Petra and Stella.

Now everything have slowed down a bit…and I’m back to pick up where I left…to finish some quilts … have some waiting!

Stella’s quilt are now prepped and ready for quilting…her name is also added…and I’m going to try and hand quilt this one…something I haven’t done in years…not sure how it will go…but I will try and as Louise said on Instagram…one stitch at a time…will follow that advice.

Now I hope I won’t forget my blog and post a bit more often…I wish myself good luck 😉… see you all.
